List of state animals in India

We know that the Bengal tiger is India’s national animal. Like that, all
the states and union territories of India have their own state animals. The
main reason behind this is to provide safety to all of the endangered species
and to develop pride in the state.

 There are 29 states present in India, and each state has declared its state animal to protect the indigenous species in India.
